Nature Story Time: Old Enough to Save the Planet
Children ages 31/2 to 7 years of age with an adult are invited to join us for in-person programming in Jimmy’s Treehouse. This season’s programming was inspired by Loll Kirby’s book, “Old Enough to Save the Planet''. The children in Kirby’s book (and the other books we’ll be reading this fall) take action to observe, create or protect a natural space in their community. After the story, we’ll take action too as we explore the trails, play games or create a craft. By helping the Nature Center team spot butterflies, take care of our plants or protect our water, we’ll be taking action like the heroes in our stories.
