NATURALIST NOTEBOOK: CRICKETS AND KATYDIDS
Sunday, May 18th | 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM | Nature Center
Lisa Rainsong, Ph.D. will join us for the May Naturalist's Notebook talking and making music about one of her favorite subjects, insects, specifically crickets and katydids. Lisa is a professional musician and educator with a passion for the study of birds, insects and amphibians of NE Ohio.
The book, Crickets and Katydids: Concerts and Solos by Vincent G. Dethier is out of print but good used copies will be available at Loganberry Books. Join us at the Nature Center to talk about these annual arrivals to our Ohio landscapes, and learn about the sounds of summer and fall that lull us to sleep.
This is a hybrid program; Zoom link will be sent out prior to the program for those wanting to join virtually.
Registration required. Free. Donations welcome.
