We all have that spot where nothing seems happy. Our yards have wet, part wet, dry, part dry, shady, part shady, sunny, part sunny, clayey, acidic, or all-of-the-above spots. How do we know what native plants to plant where?
First, Nick Mikash, Natural Resource Specialist at NCSL, will review what native plants are offered by the 38th annual NCSL plant sale and help you plan a native habitat for your yard.
Then, learn about the Pollinator Path Challenge. Peggy Spaeth, Friends of Lower Lake co-chair, shares the steps she and her neighbors took to create a tree lawn pollinator path providing bees, butterflies, and other insects with a rich diet of pollen and nectar all the way down the street.
